OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Mrs. Thomas H. Gamble, 83, died Saturday morning at 4:45 o'clock after suffering for two days with heart disease. Death occurred in her home three miles north of Wabash on road 15.
The decedent, Minnie May Gamble, was born near Germantown, O., Feb. 16, 1861, to George and Amanda (Gunkle) Shafer. Her marrige to Thomas H. Gamble took place Oct. 9, 1879. Mr. Gamble preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mabel A. Reeves and Mrs. Mary G. Dillion; four sons, Harley M., Orville and Glen H., Wabash, and Roy L., Lima, O.; one half-sister, Mrs. Emery Oblinger, Germantown, O.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Goldie M. Alexander.
Mrs. Gamble was a member of the Bachelor Creek Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Jones Funeral home with the Rev. James Saylor conducting. #Burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body has been taken to the Jones Funeral home where friends may call.
