Mrs. Adeline Seymour Succumbs To Heart Attack:
Four Children Survive
Rome - Mrs. Adeline Seymour, widow of Leverette Erl Seymour, passed away shortly after 12 o'clock Tuesday night at her home, 508 N. George Street. Mrs. Seymour, who had been confined to her room for the past six months, passed away peacefully after a sudden heart attack. She was of a kind and loving disposition, always ready with a helping hand, and news of her death comes as a distinct shock to her many acquaintances.
She was born in this city on March 31, 1840, and was the last of a family of seven children.
On Nov. 8, 1866, she was united in marriage with Mr. Seymour in Zion Church, Rome, by the Rev. H. L. M. Clarke.
Mrs. Seymour leaves four daughters, Mrs. C. Robert Edwards, Mrs. Sumner B. Kingsley and the Misses Mary L. and Ida M. Seymour, all of this city. There are also five grandchildren, Mrs. Ruth Deets, Paul, Lyle, Sumner and Miss Ellen Kingsley, and several nieces and nephews. Rome Daily Sentinel, Wednesday Evening, November 27, 1929

Mrs. Adeline Seymour Is Claimed in Death
Rome. Nov. 27—Mrs. Adeline Seymour, widow of Leverette Seymour, died early this (Wednesday) morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. Robert Edwards, 408 North George Street, after an illness of about six months.
She was born in Rome, March 31, 1840.
Her maiden name was Adelaide Mostizer. In November 1868, she was married to Mr. Seymour, who died 4 years ago, by Rev. H. L. M. Clarke.
She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Edwards. Mrs. S. B. Kingsley and Misses Mary L. and Ida M. Mostizer, all of Rome, and five grandchildren.
