Dora Knight
Dora Knight, 81, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Beech Grove Meadows. She was a resident of Beech Grove.
She was born May 24, 1923, in Bond, Ky. Her parents were Green A. and Georgia (Akeman) Settle. She married Rexford E. Knight. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Gene Morris of Indianapolis; a daughter, Patricia Israel of Holiday, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Rexann Trester of Greenwood and Teresa Kroll of California; a brother, Junior Settle of Acton; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rusty Morris; and a great-granddaughter, Brandy Hurley.
She was employed by Eli Lilly and Co. in the office, retiring in the mid-1970s.
A service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Friends may call from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
