Ross Watson Seton Jr. passed away peacefully in his home on April 18, 2009.


Born in Perry, OK in 1921. His family moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1932. He graduated from Poly Tech High School in 1939.


He then joined the Coast Guard in 1941 and was stationed in the South Pacific and a shipmate of the USS Hunter Liggett APA14 and USS Centaurus AKA17.


Ross was very involved with his community and loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed talking with people and telling the history of the city. He was a businessman and the president of the City of Los Angeles Truck Owners Association.


He is survived by his wife, Sara L. Seton; his daughters, Cyndi and Sandra; his grandson, Matthew Ross; his two great-grandsons, Joel and Dominic.


Ross was a great father, husband, and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed greatly.


Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, 1831 West Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA.
