Eletha Sessions Bookout

Eletha Sessions Bookout, 99, of Lovell, died at the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell on March 4, 2004. Mrs. Bookout was born February 4, 1905, in Byron to Scott Aytch and Agnes Ada Cox Sessions. She was the fifth of 11 children and the granddaughter of Byron and Ida Twombley Sessions, who pioneered the Big Horn Basin.

She married Marion Jesse Bookout September 24, 1924. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on September 9, 1947. She had a great love for her family. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend.

She enjoyed camping in the mountains, cooking and crocheting. Eletha was also an active member of the VFW Auxiliary for 43 years and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Eletha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; eight brothers, Alvin, Kirk, Monroe, Theriol or better known as "Chick", Merlin, Ernie and Newel; two sisters, Annie and Delilah; her children, Raymond and Thelma; two granddaughters, Betty Jo Good and Sharon Schott; one great-granddaughter, Holly Dee Good and two sons-in-law, Joe Good and Jerry Fink.

Eletha is survived by her brother Thurman of Lovell; her two daughters, Louise Good of Lovell and Myrna Schott of Billings; eight grandchildren, Gary Good of Lincoln, Neb., Robert Good of Lovell, Russell Good of St. George, Utah, Skip Schott of Billings, Deborah Robertson of Monroe, Utah, Ray Fink of Lovell, Mike Fink of Lovell and Scott Fink of Cheyenne; 28 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 8, 2004, at the Lovell Wyoming Stake Center.
