Our sister, mother, wife, and friend passed away on April 5, 2011, in her Arvada, Colorado, home after a short battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Salt Lake City on May 22, 1951. She moved to Colorado 20 years ago. Kathy was an avid golfer and loved being in the out-of doors. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Serra; her wonderful daughters, Lisa Butters Black and Becca Butters McKissack; her four grandchildren: Britten James Montoya, Kennady Black, Keelyn McKissack, and Mason McKissack. Kathy is also survived by her siblings, Kris Wilcox, Jim Eberhardt Jr., and Joan Trindle. Kathy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Joyce and Jim Eberhardt. As per Kathy's request, there will be no memorial service held.
