Amelia E. Serafini, 83, of Old Chester Road, East Derry, N.H., formerly of Hanover Township, died Friday at the Parkland Memorial Hospital, New Hampshire.
Born June 30, 1913, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lenora Speranza Grillini.
She resided in New Hampshire for the past 11 months.
She worked as a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Church, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Liveo Serafini, in September 1996; a brother, Marino; a stepsister, Mary Cappellini.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Lenore) Spinelli, Luzerne; Linda Serafini, East Derry, N.H.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Mrs. Betty McCormick, Hanover Township; Mrs. Marge Lipenski, Laflin; Mrs. Lena Tome, Plains Township; a brother, Ralph Grillini, Wilkes-Barre.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Aloysius Church, corner of Barney and Division streets, Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
