Former Janesville Woman Dies at Town of Beloit Home After Two Years' illness.
Word was received in this city today of the death of Mrs. James Finley, at her home in the town of Beloit, on Thursday night, following an illness of two years from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Finely was a resident of Janesville for several years, her husband having been engaged in the grocery business.
Anna B. Sennett was born Aug. 15, 1859, at Caledonia, Illinois, and was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sennett. At the age of two years she moved with her parents to the town of Rock, where she was married thirty-seven years ago to James Finley. They lived in Janesville for four years after their marriage, and then located in the town of Beloit, where they have since resided.
Besides her husband, eight children survive: Mrs. Mary Nessler and Lawrence, a son, living in the town of Beloit; Margaret, Annabelle James, William, and Francis, who live at home. She also leaves two brothers, James Sennett of the town of Rock and Andrew Sennett of Brodhead.
Mrs. Finley was a member of Jude's Catholic church of Beloit and was a woman of noble and ovabe [as written] qualities.
