Margaret Senger, 93, Strasburg, ND, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the Strasburg Care Center, Strasburg, ND.
Margaret, the daughter of Leopold and Marianna (Roehrich) Baumgartner, was born May 19, 1914, on the family farm west of Strasburg, ND.
She married Paul Senger in 1940 and they farmed east of Strasburg. In 1965 they moved to Milwaukee, WI and lived there for eight years before retiring back to Strasburg, ND. Margaret was a member of St. Mary's Society and enjoyed gardening, embroidery and babysitting.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Irvin and Helen Senger of Strasburg, ND, Charles and Elsie Senger of Seattle, WA, and Paul Senger of Seattle, WA; two daughters and one son-in-law: Elaine and Ken Klein of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Gladys Senger of Seattle, WA; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Eleanor and Fred Senger and Loretta Krowshy, all of Milwaukee, WI; three sisters-in-law: Margaret Baumgartner of Strasburg, ND; Regina Baumgartner of Milwaukee, WI, and Eugenia Senger Lanko of Milwaukee, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul, one granddaughter, one grandson, four brothers, John, Joe, Tony, Frank, and four sisters, Katie, Rose, Mary and Agnes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg, with Rev. Leonard Eckroth officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
