Helen "Nana" Atkins, 78, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a local hospice care facility. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe H. Atkins, and one great-granddaughter. Survivors: Children, Tommy Atkins, Lecretia Atkins and Brenda Farrar; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
