NEW ALBANY - Edith Elaine Angier, 81, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany. She was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Union County to John Quince and Nancy Chunn Self. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at United Funeral Service in New Albany with the Rev. Trey Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by a sister, Betty L. Brown (Lonnie) of Hernando; a brother, G.W. Self of Jackson; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Self of New Albany; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Ruth Self; and three brothers, Victor Self, John Self and Carroll Self.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time today at the funeral home.
