Elizabeth "Betty" Sekulovich, age 82, formerly of the Merrillville area, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2003.
She was a lifetime member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, and a dedicated member of its Circle of Serbian Sisters, an active member of the St. Sava Golf Committee, and also a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary and AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo "Bud" Sekulovich, and daughter, Patricia Blaha.
Betty is survived by two children, Beth (Steve) Nichols of St. Louis, MO. and Milo Dan (Sandy) Sekulovich of Palos Park, IL; 5 grandchildren, Peter (Robin) Blaha, Debbie (John) Basting, Julia & Steven Nichols and William Sekulovich; 2 great grandchildren, Jennifer & Alexandra; 2 brothers, John Adzick of Kansas City, KS and Nick (Maxine) Adzick of St. Louis, MO; 3 sisters, Mileva Kovac, Dorothy Kemper and Georgia Glagovac, all of St. Louis, MO.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 10 AM directly at St. Save Serbian Orthodox Church, 9191 Mississippi St., Merrillville, IN with V. Rev. Jovan Todorovich officiating.
Interment, Calumet Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were completed by Savich & Semplinski Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 PM at Burns Funeral Home, corner of 101st & Broadway, Merrillville/ Crown Point. A Pomen Service will be offered at 7 PM, Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the St. Sava Building Fund.
