Robert A. Seiter, 88, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Knopp Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Don Higginbotham officiating.
Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.
Seiter was born July 27, 1924, in Rosebush, Mich., the son of Jacob Seiter and Minnie Allen Seiter. He married Marion Nevins on March 25, 1978, in Tucson, Ariz., and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Seiter is survived by a brother- and sister-in-law, Norm and Sandra Nevins of Stonewall, and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Nevins of Virginia.
Seiter was preceded in death by his parents, as well as one brother, Floyd Seiter, and four sisters, including Vera Ahlborn, Marie Strobel, Esther Warnock and Mabel Blessing.
