Like his older brother, Edward Seislove, Frank served in the military in 1898 as a Private with Company B of the 4th Pennsylvania Volunteers. By June 1900, Frank was stationed in Cuba – as a Private with the U.S. Army’s 8th Infantry.
In 1904, Frank Seislove wed Kate Butler in Philadelphia. Pension records for Frank Seislove indicate that Catherine Loper, a guardian of his dependent minor child, filed an application for benefits for that child from Pennsylvania on 10 August 1921.
On 7 March 1905, Frank Seislove's mother passed away at the Philadelphia home of his sister, Mamie (Seislove) Eckstein. The 8 March 1905 edition of "The Allentown Leader" reported her passing as follows:
"Death of Mrs. Clara Gaumer
Former Allentown Woman Passes Away in Philadelphia

She is survived by her husband, four children, Mrs. Mamie Eckstein, Mrs. Flossie McFaddena and Frank and Edward Seislove; two brothers, John and Albert Saul, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Schoeneberger of Allentown.
The remains will arrive here Thursday morning with the 10:29 Lehigh Valley train. The funeral will take place Friday at 2 p.m. from the residence of her brother, Albert Saul, No. 125 Railroad Street, Rev. George F. Gardner officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery."
DEATH AND INTERMENT
The death of Private Frank Seislove appears to have occurred in or before 1921 since a pension claim was filed for a minor child in August of 1921.
America's Nationwide Gravesite Locator for military veterans does not provide a date of death for him, but does confirm his miliary service and burial location at the Philadelphia National Cemetery.
