She was a member of the Luray United Methodist Church, Circle One, Luray United Methodist Women's Group and was in the local Bridge Club.
On Aug. 8, 1942, she married Julian Ray Sedwick, who preceded her in death Dec. 12, 2009.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna (Sedwick) Triplett of Harrisonburg; a son, Ray Sedwick of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Stephanie Taylor of Virginia Beach, Douglas Sedwick of Portland, Ore., June Schnabl of Katy, Texas, and Lisa Beecroft of Tulsa, Okla.; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary B. Gander, Ethel B. Sanford and Ann (Sedwick) Sedwick; and two brothers, Thomas C. Berrey and Emmet W. Berrey
