Anna C. Dunder, one of seven children, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Vit Sedlacek June 6, 1886 [sic, should be 1866] in Bohemia.

She departed from this life at the home of her daughter in Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 23, 1955 at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 17 days.

At the age of 2 years she came, with her parents, to the United States and resided at Crete, Nebraska.

On February 18, 1892 she was married to Joseph F. Dunder. At this time they established their home in Merrick County, near Palmer. To this union five children were born.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Her husband preceded her in death November 10, 1947.

Mrs. Dunder left in December 1952 to make her home with her children because of her health.

She is survived by her five children: Mrs. Ruth E. Hoover of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Arline O. Wolfe of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Mrs. Edith Zimmerman of Kearney, Nebraska; Charles Dunder of Archer, Nebraska; Joe Dunder of Grand Rapids, Michigan; one sister, Mary Franta of Crete, Nebraska,; one brother, Vit Sedlacek of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren an twelve great-grandchildren.
