RUSSELL ­ Margaret "Marge" Campbell Aksamit, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Russell Regional Hospital.

She was born July 20, 1925, in Chattanooga, Okla., to Aubry L. and Lillie (Conway) Sebree. She grew up in Oklahoma.

She married Eugene Bruce Campbell on June 13, 1942, in Savannah, Ga. He died Dec. 23, 1981. She married Leeman E. Aksamit on Sept. 13, 1986. in Osborne. She was a longtime Russell resident, working for many years as a waitress in local Russell restaurants including the Eat in Time, Tower Cafe and Russell´s Inn. She co-owned and operated the Holland Hotel Coffee Shop for a number of years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Russell; a son, Larry, Russell; a daughter, Connie Munday, Mahopac, N.Y.; a sister, Lena McDown, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.

Services will be at Pohlman´s Mortuary Chapel, Russell, with the Rev. Glenn Tombaugh officiating; burial in Russell City Cemetery.
