California, USA
Death: Nov. 12, 2002
San Diego County

A lifelong resident of Oceanside, California, Pearl Seau was employed as a caregiver at Pacific Place Retirement Community in Oceanside. Though she had no children of her own she provided childcare for the neighborhood children, often taking them to the store for ice cream and candy. She was well liked and had many friends in the neighborhood. She was a member of New Venture Christian Fellowship. While sitting in her garage reading the mail, Pearl was shot to death by an unknown assailant who shouted a gang name. In 2005 a suspect was arrested in Texas and subsequently confessed to the shooting. He was convicted in 2007 and sentenced to state prison. She was survived by her fiance, mother, brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service took place on November 19, 2002 at the Samoan Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Vista, California.
Arrangements by Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside.

Pearl, I know you were there to greet your Cousin Junior when he arrived, just as Cousin Rusty was there to greet you on your arrival. God bless you and continue to rest in peace.
