She was the wife of Jacob Belton Fulmer.
-----

From the Lutheran Visitor:
Mrs. Mahala M. Fulmer (Nee Sease) 63 years, 6 months and 11 days old widow of Jacob Fulmer, died of pneumonia at the home of her daughter Mrs. S. T. Hallman [should be Samuel Jacob Hallman] of Springfield SC. Her husband died 29 years previous. She was survived by a son, 4 daughters 6 brothers, 2 sisters etc. Burial was in the Methodist Church Cemetery at Springfield SC. Lutheran Visitor 2/13/1902, page 11.

Martha Ann Mahalah Sease was born 11 May 1838 in Newberry Dist, SC, and died in Springfield at her daughter Lela Alma Fulmer Hallman’s home on 29 Nov 1901.

Jacob Belton Fulmer (her husband) died a couple of years after they moved from Newberry Co, SC, to Springfield, Orangeburg Co, SC. I was told he was buried at Rocky Swamp Methodist Church Cemetery, Neeses, SC. I assume that the grave is unmarked. From a family record (that I have a copy of) it states that Jacob Belton Fulmer was born 01 Dec 1830. I have that he died in 1873.

My great grandfather is Govan Luther Sease who married Mary Elvy Fulmer (siblings of Martha Ann Mahalah Sease & Jacob Belton Fulmer). My grandfather and Lela Alma Fulmer Hallman are double first cousins.
