HOUSTON - Allie Mae "Al" Scruggs Anglin, age 69, died Friday, October 7, 1994 at Floy Dyer Manor. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 8 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Houston Cemetery with the Rev. Al Gaspard and Brother Randy Langley officiating. Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The daughter of the late James Wiley Scruggs and the late Carrie Mae Kelly Scruggs, she was born in Iuka. She was a retired employee of Houston Hospital and was a member of South Jackson Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Allyson Phillips of Van Vleet; one sister, Natalie Berry of Houston; one brother, Hercul Scruggs of Jackson and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Clifton Rhodes, Tommy Berry, Phillip Ray, Greg Pepper, Bobby Gilbert and Bobby Brooks.
