Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Bailey, age 86, will be held at 11:00 A. M., Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Scotts Hill has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Bailey, the daughter of the late Curtis and Claudia Austin Scott, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 in Jackson.
She was a homemaker and long time member of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and cooking for all her family and many friends.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Thomas Bailey; her daughter, Faye Camper (Lewis); four grandchildren, Jeff Camper (Teresa), Tracy Inman (Jason), Dena Stowe (Bart) and Gena Roach; six great grandchildren, Candice Peterson, Kashia Camper, Madelyn and Sophie Claire Stowe and Presley and Rainey Roach; and a sister, Imogene Haltom.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Freda Clenney and Dee Stanfill; five brothers, Buster, Cledis, James, W.C. and Carl Scott.
