JONESBOROUGH -- Judy Lynn Scott Barbour, age 55, Limestone, passed away Friday at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Barbour was a native of Greene County and daughter of the late Kyle and Wanda Parker Scott.
She was a nurse on the 2200 floor of the Johnson City Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband: John Barbour Jr. of Limestone; her children: Johnny Barbour of Limestone and Beverly Davis Johnson City; her grandchildren: Isaiah Davis and Bryson Davis; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen and Tommy Cox, Patricia and David Painter, and Nancy and Mike Burns, all of Greene County; a brother: Buster Scott of Greene County; her father-in-law: John Barbour Sr. of Limestone; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Cathy Dunn, Judy and Gary Greer, and Susan Howell; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Michelle Barbour; a sister: Betsy Scott; a brother: Jimmy Scott; and her mother-in-law: Carol Barbour.
The family received friends from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Neil Drinnon and A.K. Killion officiated. Interment was in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Painter, Curtis Howell, Gary Greer, Stephen Hicks, Steven Oliver, Christopher Greer, Nicholas Hicks, and Joshua Compton.
