Mrs. Migonette S.Bachrach 70, of 528 W.Macon st. died at 5:45 pm yesterday in Decatur and Macon county hospital. She was the wife of Albert Bachrach, a son of the late Henry Bachrach who founded Bachrachs clothing store and an uncle of Henry. E. Bachrach who is now vice president of the store.
Mrs. Bachrach was a nurse until she retired 25 years ago. She worked in Grant hospital in Chicago during World War I. She lived in Decatur since May 1954,coming here from Chicago. She attended the Presbyterian church.
Mrs.Bachrach was born in Mt.Zion Nov. 15, 1890, a daughter of Alexander B and Mary C.Blalock Scott. She was married to Albert Bachrach in April 1922, in Gretna,La. She leaves her husband,two sisters,Mrs.Virgie Hughes, Alta,Dena Cal, and Mrs. William Edna Wright,Mortion, Ill and a brother D. Jay Scott of Decatur. One brother preceded her in death.
The body is in the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete.
