Mrs. Alma Dale, a Lizton area resident most of her life, died Friday in the Hendricks County Hospital at Danville where she had been a patient the past three months.
Mrs. Dale was born in Hendricks County on May 20, 1899, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Scott. In 1917, she was married to William I. Dale who preceded her in death. She resided in the Raintown community northeast of Lizton and belonged to the Cheer Club there, and attended the New Brunswick Church of God.
Surviving are a son Paul T. Dale of near Jamestown; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Carney of Cicero and Mrs. Freda Norman of Danville; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Blacketer of Lizton; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Baker Funeral Home in Danville, with the Rev. Fred Gilbert and Rev. Robert Brazil, officiating. Burial was in the K. of P. Cemetery at Lizton.
