DRESDEN - James B. Scott, 70, equipment operator for the City of Dearborn, Mich., died Friday of lung cancer at HCA Volunteer General Hospital in Martin. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dresden Church of Christ, where he was a member, with burial in Sunset Cemetery. Bowlin Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Scott, the husband of Wilma Turbeville Scott, also leaves a daughter, Carol Ann Scott of Dresden; three sisters, Nellie Melton of Florida, and Betty Shever and Dola Thurmond, both of Sikeston, Mo., and three brothers, Bealer Scott of Florida, Clyde Scott of Colorado and Jesse Scott of Sikeston.
