Funeral services for Mrs. O. L. Cole, 60, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Oakley Metcalf chapel with Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery.
Mrs. Cole, 1907 Spence St., died in a local hospital Friday evening. She was born March 31, 1906 in Nacogdoches County and had resided in Lufkin for the last 33 years. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, O. L. Cole; daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Brassel of Sydney, Australia; two sons, Dempsey Cole of Birmingham, Alabama and Neal Cole of Lufkin; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Cumming of Lufkin, Mrs. Gladys Blair of Lake Jackson, Mrs. Ada Clinton and Mrs. Rosie Stevens, both of Lufkin; three brothers, Ervin Scogin of Lufkin, Ernest Scogin of Houston and Oscar Scogin of Springhill, La.; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
