JoAnn G. Schwemm, 69, of Fox River Grove, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at University of Chicago Hospital.
She was born Dec. 16, 1941, in Elgin, the daughter of John and Katherine Podhorsky.
She was employed at Shot-Elecpac in Cary
.
She is survived by four children, Della Fullmer, Debra (Michael) Lekki, Derek Schwemm and Dean Schwemm; two grandchildren, Melinda Benitiz and Melissa Fullmer; three great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Sebastian and Nikki; three brothers, Richard (Sharon) Podhorsky, John Podhorsky and Joseph (Delia) Podhorsky; and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, Cary. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Windridge Memorial Park.
