She was born to Vernon and Betty (Martin) Schwarck who reside in Wapakoneta. On June 18, 1977 she married James M. Painter, who is surviving.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Painter, Portsmouth, Va., and Stacey Painter, Sidney; a sister, Judy (Jack) McCormick, Archibold; a brother, John (Tammy), Wapakoneta; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was a sister-in-law, Sandy Schwarck; and her birth parents, Virgil and Ruth (Lewis) Schwarck.
She worked for the Logan County District Library in Technical Services in Bellefontaine. She was a lay director for the Epiphany Prison Ministry. She was also a member of the Sidney Emmaus Community, and a volunteer at Christian Acadamy School in Sidney. She was a member of Only Believe Ministries Christian Center in Botkins.
