Birth: Dec. 26, 1796
New Jersey, USA
Death: Mar. 20, 1848
Marshall County
Indiana, USA

Nancy married George J. Alleman circa 1815, most likely in Fayette, Seneca Co., New York where their first child was born. There is an 1830 Census record for a George Alleman and family living in that city. Family trees on attribute nine children to the couple:
Mahlon Nelson (12/1/1816-8/24/1904)
John S. (3/23/1819-2/7/1874)
Mary Ann (b. circa 1821)
Napoleon B. (1823-1879)
Phillip Schuyer (10/4/1826-3/12/1908)
Eliza Adeline (b. circa 1829)
George K. (1832-1864)
Phidelia E. (b. circa 1834)
Aaron L. (8/12/1837-2/4/1892)

Sometime after Aaron's birth in 1837 and 1848, the family left New York and moved to Indiana. Nancy died on 20 Mar 1848. George must have married soon after, as he appeared on the 1850 Census, aged 59, living in Rochester, Fulton Co., Indiana with new wife Ruth (nee Davy) Alleman, aged 49, a third marriage for her. He gave his occupation as miller. They appear to have had a daughter together named Eunice, born in 1849 or 1850. Also living with them was Caroline Herron (b.1835), Ruth's daughter from her first marriage to Thomas Herron on 1 Apr 1824 in Tuscarawas, Ohio. Additionally, there were three children with the surname White (probably from Ruth's second marriage)--Nancy I. White, aged 12, Henrietta White, aged 8, and Miles White, aged 6. Bringing the children total in the household to seven were George Alleman, aged 18, and Aaron Alleman, aged 13, George's sons with first wife Nancy Schuyler.

George died two years after that Census, the day after Independence Day on 5 Jul 1852 at age 64, and was buried alongside Nancy.
