Wanda Lee Love, 86, of Evansville, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, at Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice. She was born December 10, 1928, in Evansville, to the late Roy and Valada (Bernsmeier) Schutts.
She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Dorcus Bible Class. She enjoyed reading her Bible, tending her flowers, and praying for her family and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Gay Louise Love.
She is survived by her husband, Homer "Pete" Love; sons, Stanley (Glenda) Love, David (Sharon) Love, both of Evansville, and Ronald (Debbie) Love of Newark, DE; daughter, Sherilyn (Randall) Johnston of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 2, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Claspell, with burial in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
