Mrs. Bill Booth, Oregon Teacher, Dies at Age 35

OREGON – Mrs. Bill L. Booth, 35 wife of an Oregon funeral director, died Friday in a Madison hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran Church.
Friends may call at the B.L. Booth funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
The former Gladys Schultz was born in Attica (Green country) and graduated from Whitewater State College in 1943. She was an honor student and a member of Phi Beta, professional speech sorority.
Mrs. Booth taught commercial subjects at Neshkoro High school for two years and moved to Oregon in 1945. She had been on the Oregon High school faculty for the past 14 years.
She was married Mar. 6, 1948.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Council and was church treasurer. She was also a member of the Oregon Education Assn. and the PTA, and the Southwestern Wisconsin Teachers' Assn.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Jeanne; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Schultz, Attica; and a broth, Gordon, Attica; and a sister, Mrs. Donald Smith, Fond du Lac.
The Oregon consolidated schools will be closed during the funeral.
