Lillian E. Blunt (née Schultz) of Hartford passed away to her Heavenly Home in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 94.

Lillian was born on October 11, 1918 in Athens, Wisconsin to Julius Schultz and Pauline Schultz (nee Gluch). She married Jesse R. Blunt on November 22, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI.

Lillian was as "The Wife of Noble Character" from Proverbs 31 of the bible "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value….She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hand to the needy. She is clothed with strength and dignity…She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instructions is on her tongue. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also and he praises her. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned and let her works bring her praise."

Lillian was a long time member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church. She was an avid gardener and belonged to several garden and herb societies.

Lillian is survived by her daughter Pauline Blunt, grand-daughter Carey Ann Struebing (special friend Dave Dorgay), grand-daughter Stacy Sterman {nee Struebing}(husband Timothy Sterman), grandson James Struebing, Jr (wife Tina Struebing {nee Watkins} and son-in-law Stanley Kucharski. Further survived by her great-grand children: Miranda Struebing, Sierra Struebing, Josie Struebing, Luke Sterman, Xander Sterman ,Lillian (Lily) Sterman {her name sake}and many nieces nephews other relatives and many dear ,dear friends.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Jesse R. Blunt in 2003 , her daughter Peggy Kucharski in 2012, her parents , brothers Julius, Leo and Ed Schultz; sisters Lidia Tessmer, Clara Dallmann, and Irma Stone. Plus many beloved sister and brother-in-laws.

Funeral services for Lillian will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 3200 Hwy K, Hartford with Rev. Doug Stowe officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends on Friday April 5, 2013 at Divine Savior Lutheran Church from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Interment at Pleasant Hill, Hartford.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Gardens of Hartford for their care and compassion for Lillian during her stay.
