Mayvis M. Anderson, 86, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 19, 2011, after a short illness. She was born Dec. 7, 1924, in Antigo, Wis., to Herman and Mary (Kohlpack) Schultz, the youngest of seven children. In 1943, she graduated from West High School and was a seamstress at Nau's for many years.
Mayvis is survived by two daughters, Sue Anderson, Green Bay; Julie Anderson and her special friend, Tom, San Diego, Calif.; a grandson, Matt (Leslie) Fischer and their boys, John and Isaac; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
According to the family's request, no services will be held.
A memorial fund has been established to benefit the American Heart Association and can be made to her daughter, Sue.
The family extends a thank you to Dr. Raymond Bachhuber and his staff for all their care over the years, to Aurora VNA-Hospice, especially Denise, Sam and Sheila, Woodside Nursing Home staff, and to all her daughter Sue's friends and co-workers for all their prayers and calls.
