Mrs. Lena R Williams, 96, formerly of Orrtanna R1, died Saturday morning at the St. Anne’s Home, Columbia, where she had been a guest for four years.
A native of Adams County, she was born November 17, 1874, a daughter of the late
George W and Mary A (Thomas) Schultz, and was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley.
She was twice wed. Her first husband, W Frank Baker, died in 1933. Her second husband, John Williams, died in 1947.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lillian M Dillon, Orrtanna R1, and Mrs. Clara Leber, East Orange, N.J.; 21 grandchildren and31 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. Two sisters,
Mrs. Emma Scheaffer, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Theodore Osborn, Gettysburg, and a brother, John Shultz, also of Gettysburg.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning with meeting at the Monahan Funeral Home, Carlisle St., at 9:15 to go to St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church for the requiem Mass at 10:00 at which
Rev. Msgr. Louis J Yeager officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
