Eleanor Joyce Haas.

Services for Eleanor Joyce Haas, 82, of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn for 80+ years, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Born July 16, 1922, in Rock Falls, she died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at home in Wheaton. Mrs. Haas was a homemaker. Eleanor was a volunteer at Central DuPage Hospital, a longtime member of the "Dirty Eight," and enjoyed painting, drawing and needlework. Survivors include her loving daughter, Susan Haas of Wheaton; and son, Kim (Joan) Haas of Glen Ellyn; cherished grandchildren, Emily (Gary) Coleman, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Laura, Zeltvay and Joshua; great-grandchild, Caleb; brother, Robert Schultz of Glen Ellyn; sister, Fern Lenzini; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lee Haas. If desired, memorial gifts may be directed to the family for the many organizations they donate to. For information‚ (630) 469-0032.
