On Saturday night last at 9 pm after several years of ill health which finally developed in paralysis causing death. Deceased was born in Germany in 1836, coming to America in 1868 bringing her only child John Waisa from her first marriage.

Married Andrew Bohnart in Iowa City in 1868. Came to Nuckolls County Nebraska in 1870 being among the first settlers of this community. Six children were born as a result of this union.

Deceased with her husband had worked hard during her life in Nebraska and by their frugal habits and constant labor saved enough to pay for a nice home with a half section of land surrounding it. She was kind and affectionate as a wife and mother and held in highest esteem by her neighbors. A large concourse of sorrowing friends turned out to the funeral service at the Catholic Church Monday which was conducted by the Rev Father Stapf after which the remains were laid away in the cemetery located on the old homestead where she had resided while in Nebraska.
