Myra M Schoenenberger 85, passed away July 18, 2009 of heart failure at Mercy Hospital.

Services will be held Wednesday July 22, at 10 a.m. at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church.

Burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Myra was born April 12, 1924 in Nevada, Iowa. The daughter of Harold and Gladys McBride.

She graduated from Nevada High School in 1942 and married John Philip Schoenenberger on 26 August 1951.

She worked at R & R Donnley Marketing in Nevada. She attended and volunteered at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church of which she was a founding member for over 50 years.

Myra was a resident of Windsor Heights since 1951.

She enjoyed sewing, senior citizen retirement group @ her church and flowers, especially red flowers.

Survivors include a son, Terry of Windsor Heights, a Daughter, Cindy (Raleigh) Hutt of Des Moines, Grand Daughter Amanda (Aaron) Core of Indianola, Grand Son Brice Hutt of Waverly & Great Grand Son Aiden Core of Indianola.

She was proceeded in death by her husband John Philip Schoenenberger and her parents Harold and Gladys McBride.

Visitation will be held at Westover Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Windsor Heights Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
