Mr. Schoenenberger died of Leukemia Sunday at Mercy Hospital, after a 3 year illness.
Mr. Schoenenberger served his country during World War 2 from Oct. 1942 until March 1946. In Company C 316th ENGR.
A retired rubber manufacturing company employee @ Armstrong Tire & Rubber.
He was born in Winterset & lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was married to Myra Mae McBride on August 26, 1951 in Nevada, Iowa
Survivors include his wife, Myra, a son, Terry & a daughter, Cindy, both @ home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John Guy Schoenenberger & Hazel (Wheeler) Schoenenberger.
