Mrs. Mary Hoag, who was severely burned at her residence, 820 Crosby Street, several weeks ago, as mentioned in the Light at the time, died yesterday. Deceased while in a demented condition, saturated her garments with kerosene oil and set fire to her clothes. She was 35 years of age and her home was in Medina County. Her husband Joseph Hoag and six little children survive her. The eldest child is but 14 years of age and the baby six months. The funeral takes place from St. Joseph's Church. Today. San Antonio Light Dec 13, 1898.
NOTE: This family changed the spelling of thier name from Hoog to Hoag.
