Minnie A. Boeche, 90, of Bellmead, Texas, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at her residence. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Walter Albers and Pastor Joel Boesche officiating. Burial will be at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Bellmead Funeral Home. The family will be at the Lynette and Alvin Neuman residence.
Minnie Augusta was born in Kurten, Texas, to the late Fritz and Minnie (Giesler) Schmidt. She married Louis Rudolph Boeche on May 25, 1940, in Riesel. They farmed in the Riesel area and later moved to Bellmead where she went to work at Imperial Wood Works until retiring in 1980. She was a charter member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was active in L.U.M.L. and was a Sunday School Teacher. Minnie was a volunteer with Louis as he played his music at local nursing homes, senior citizen functions and social gatherings. She loved her Lord, her church and all of her family. She especially loved her grandson, Harold, who she helped raise. Minnie has left a void in all of our lives, we will miss and love her until we meet again in our Heavenly Home.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Boeche, of Bellmead; daughter, Lynette Neuman and husband, Alvin, of Riesel; son, Jimmy Boeche, of Mart; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Patsy Thun.
