ALLEN, Evelyn L. - Of Clio, age 87, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home. Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Rev. Bruce Nowacek officiating. Burial at Thetford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-9pm and Friday from 12-9pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Thetford United Methodist Church. Evelyn was born April 28, 1919 in Frankenmuth, Michigan to the late Herman and Lulu (Burr) Schmidt. She had resided in the Clio area most of her life. Evelyn married Harold Allen in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1972. She enjoyed playing cards and taking care of her family. Surviving are: children, Sandra Brady of Clio, Susan (Daniel) Euler of Houghton Lake; 4 grandchildren, Shelly (Thomas) Ayotte, Samuel (Laurie) Brady, Cheri Euler, Kristi (Chad) Bisballe; 7 great-grandchildren, Sabrina (Chad) Blackney, Loren (Kristen) Ayotte, Megan (Brian) Weldon, Emily and Seth Brady, Macy and Alie Bisballe.
