Mrs. Louis (Margaret R.) Lorenzoni, 93, Green Bay resident, died Saturday, May 29, 2010. She was born Dec. 3, 1916 in Bellevue to the late Joseph and Anna (Hoffman) Schlag. On August 12, 1939 she married Louis V. Lorenzoni at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha by Msgr. John Hummel. Louis preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1985. Margaret was a graduate of Cathedral Grade School and East High School. She was employed by the Brown County Agricultural Department and then by Dun & Bradstreet. She was a devout Catholic and was a charter member of St. Philip the Apostle Parish. She had a strong commitment to service of the community and was a member of St. Philip Altar Society, Catholic Women's Club, and AARP. She volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and at St. Vincent Hospital and was a member of the auxiliary. She loved to play cards, especially Schafkopf. She loved her garden; and loved to cook and bake, especially for family gatherings. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Roger) VandenLangenberg, son, David (Nancy) Lorenzoni, sons-in-law, Ken (Suzy) Vander Loop, all of Bellevue; grandchildren: Ann (Conrad) Kieltyka, Green Bay, Karla (J.W.) Van Wagner, Wausau, Melissa (Bill) Molling, Bellevue, Matthew and Luke Lorenzoni, Woodruff, Katie Lorenzoni, De Pere, Lori (Rod) Smits, Bellevue, Cindi Krzewina, North Prairie, Paul (Sheila) Vander Loop, Bellevue, Tina (Eric) Ready, Shawano; great-grandchildren: Nathan and Jordan Kieltyka; Megan, Evan, Kristin Molling; Andrew and Jenna Smits; Rachel and Alex Krzewina; Austin and Grant Vander Loop. She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Violet Lorenzoni, Shirley Manincor, Vulcan MI; Lorraine Scott, Royal Palm Beach, FL; and Lois Stuppnig, Menominee, MI. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Anna Schlag, and her husband Louis Lorenzoni, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Vander Loop ( Feb. 6, 1989); brothers, Norbert (Lenore) Schlag, Clarence (Eunice) Schlag; sisters, Helen (Byron) Tuyls, Florence Ebben; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Charlotte (Ray) Remondini, Violet (Everett) Fox, Irene (Frank) Willis, Wallace (Marie) Lorenzoni, Lillian (Edward) Jordan, Leslie Lorenzoni, Anthony Stuppnig, Joseph Scott, Louis Manincor. Friends may call at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 312 Victoria St. on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
