Doris Ann (Scherzer) Masica of Bridgeport, MI passed away on the evening of December 29, 2012. She was born on February 14, 1925 in Saginaw, MI. Doris was the daughter of the late William G & Edna (Fetting) Scherzer. She graduated from Arthur Hill HS, Saginaw, in 1942. She worked at Universal Engineering in Frankenmuth. Doris owned and drove her own Harley Davidson in the 1940s. She married Adam A. Masica on October 10, 1953. He passed away July 27, 2002. They enjoyed over 30 summers together in Canada fishing and with friends. Doris is a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Bridgeport, MI. She leaves her sister-in-law Martha Ulmer and nephew Benn Scherzer. She was preceded in death by her brother Mel Scherzer, Sister-in-law Ginny Scherzer, brother-in-law Lawrence Masica, sister-in-laws Agnes Masica, Mary Dankers, Valeria Pawlanta, Vera Masica, Anne Stevens, and Veronica Domagalski. She had many nieces, nephews and friends. Honoring Doris' wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Memorial service at Faith Lutheran Church, 4241 Williamson Rd, Bridgeport on Sunday February 10, 2013 at 1 PM.
