Joseph A Schermerhorn died yesterday at his home, 504 Market Street, after an illness of about a year. Mr Schermerhorn was about 84 years of age and is survived by seven children. He was one of the oldest members of the First M E Church. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from his late residence at 2 o'clock with interment in Riverview cemetery in charge of Undertakers Poulson & Coleman.
