City Hospital.
She was employed at H & W Industries of Kent, and attended the Maranatha
Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her father, Donald Townend; and sister, Joyce Townend; she
is survived by her mother, Charlotte Townend of Brimfield; husband, Garry Dean
Scherer, to whom she had been married since June of 1975; daughters
Evie, Joyce and Mary; sons, Joshua, Garry Jr., and Richard, all at home
sisters, Evelyn Slater of Alaska, Trudy Ann Crago of Akron; brothers, Donald
Townend of Akron, and Robert Townend of Brimfield.
