Funeral Services For Mrs. John Bellman Held Tuesday

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Schenck Bellman were held at the Faulkton Methodist church Tuesday, Feb. 15th at 2;15 o'clock pm.
Rev. R. W. Helper was in charge of the service. A quartette consisting of Miss. Gladys Rudine, Mrs. Erie Nystrom, Roy Ford and Raymond Wahlen sang "We are Going Down the Valley", "Saved by Grace" and "The City Four Square", with Mrs. Helper at the piano.
Elizabeth Schenck Bellman was born on a farm in Faulk County on Nov. 15, 1885 and passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, Feb. 13, 1944 at the age of 58 years and 3 months. She devoted her early life to music, vocal and instrumental, studying
in New York City and Minneapolis, where later she gave vocal and instrumental lessons. She was also very active in church work, singing in many of the churches in that city.
Her genial disposition and hospitality endeared her to a host of friends. She came back to the farm in 1930 where she met and was united in marriage to John Bellman, Oct. 17, 1931.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, two brothers, Peter and Frank and two sisters, Mrs Milton Staigt and Mrs E. E. Powell, both of New York City. She is survived by her husband , John Bellman, two brothers, William and Charles Schenck, one niece, Mrs. Vern Stevens and her four children, William Lee, Duane Franklin, Mary Katherine and Dennis Charles Stevens and a host of friends.
