Annie was the daughter of John Adam Scheetz and Magdalena Franklin Sheetz. She was born 21 Apr 1871 and baptized Anna Catherine in St. Luke's Lutheran Church on 24 Aug 1871.
She married Oliver Gordon in 1892 and they had 13 children: Elmer, Theodore, Reba, Cora, Norman, Ruth, Oscar, Edith, Flora, Webster, Bertha, Luther and Ralph. All of the children were born in Revere, Bucks, Pennsylvania.
Sometime in the 1916-1918 period the family moved to Easton, Northumberland, Pennsylvania. In the fall of 1918 the influenza pandemic took the lives of Elmer and Theodore both on 22 Oct; Norman on 24 Oct; and Webster on 9 Nov. They are all buried near each other in Nockamixon Union Cemetery.
