TOMORROW

CANDOR--Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in McKendree Methodist Church for Robert Harold Scharf, 37, who died Thursday night in Tioga County General Hospital, Waverly.

Mr. Scharf had been in ill health for some time.

He was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Binghamton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scharf, but had lived most of his life in Candor. He was a member of McKendree Methodist Church and an employee of the Morris Chain Co. of Ithaca.

Mr. Scharf is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Scharf; one son, Robert Charles; one daughter, Gayle Marie, and his parents, all of Candor; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Ketrick of Binghamton and Mrs. Gertrude Clancey of Johnson City; one brother, Howard Scharf of Candor; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Rev. M. Erford Freelove, pastor of McKendree Methodist Church, will conduct the funeral. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery here.

Robert H. Scharf, 37, died last Thursday evening, May 22, at Tioga General Hospital, Waverly, after a period of ill health.

Mr. Scharf was born in Binghamton on Sept 20, 1920.

He was a member of the McKendree Methodist church of Candor and had been employed at the Morse Chain Co.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Scharf; a son, Robert C. Scharf; a daughter, Gayle M. Scharf; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scharf, all of Candor; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Ketrick of Binghamton and Mrs. Gertrude Clancey of Johnson City; a brother, Howard Scharf of Candor; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the McKendree Methodist Church with the Rev. M. Erford Freelove officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
