Geraldine A. Ohl, age 84, of LaValle, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in the Sauk Co. Health Care Center, Reedsburg, WI. She was born on March 18, 1920 in Roselle, IL., the daughter of Alfred A., and Amanda (Eberling) Schalk. She was married to Rudolph F. Ohl on October 22, 1949 in Roselle, IL. They lived most of their lives in Elgin, IL. After her husband Rudolph died, she moved to the LaValle and Reedsburg areas in 1999. Geraldine was employed at Roselle State Bank for 35 years until her retirement. She was an active member of her Lutheran Church and helped with many of the Congregational Activities. Geraldine has been a resident of the Sauk Co. Health Care Center for the past few years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph; her parents; and one brother, Alfred Schalk.
She is survived by her niece, Diana (James) Mears of La Valle; one great-nephew, Scott E. Mears of LaValle; one great-niece, Kathy Mears-Reinhert of LaValle; and one great-great-niece, Shelby Reinhert of LaValle; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Schalk of Elgin, IL; nieces and nephews, Shirley Ohl-Clark, Jan Geiszler, William Schalk and Susan Davis; along with other relatives and friends.
Graveside Burial Services were conducted at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Elgin. IL.
