Kathleen Marie Schaeppi
Was born November 2, 1925 in East St. Louis, Illinois and she passed November 30, 2012 at the age of 87 in Colton, California. She was the only child of James Franklin Good and Pearl Evelyn (Moser) Good. She came to California with her parents in 1934 settling first in the Los Angeles area and in 1936 they moved to Colton, where her father was hired by the Pacific Fruit Express Company. She met her future husband, Robert Earl Schaeppi at a Colton community dance. They were married August 3, 1941. After the war, they purchased their home where the remained the rest of their lives. She is survived by her three children Marian Murphy (Mike), Elaine Rozhon (Bill) and Jim Schaeppi (Debbie), five grandchildren Rob Rozhon (Colette), Bekki Saunders (Dale), Shelly Keirns (Bob), Michael Murphy (Heather), Kelly Murphy (Jamie). A granddaughter Christy Schaeppi proceeded her in death. She also leaves twelve great grandchildren. She will be buried next to her husband on December 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery, 900 N. Meridian Ave., Colton, CA 92324. Published in San Bernardino Sun on December 4, 2012.
